A Woman to Her Lover
‘A Woman to Her Lover’ goes over the requirements a “wakened” woman will have for her lover. She must be his equal in all aspect of their lives together.
Christina Anne Stansfield Walshe (1888–1959) was an English poet and educator from the 20th century. Little is known about her literary work, but she is best known for the poem ‘A Woman to Her Lover.’ She was born in Cambridge and later became involved in teaching at the Ecole Freinet in Vence, France, where she passed away in a car accident.
