Elizabeth Akers Allen was an American poet who is also remembered for her journalism. She often wrote under the pen name “Florence Percy,” including when she published her first book Forest Buds from the Woods of Maine. During her life, she wrote for several important magazines, including the Portland Advertiser. She spent her life in the eastern United States.
