Eric Gamalinda is a poet and fiction writer. He is also recognized for his dramatic works and his filmmaking. He has received numerous awards and grants for his poetry, including the Asian American Literary Award and the Philippines’ top literary prize, the Palanca Memorial Awards. He teaches at Columbia University today.
