George Barker was a poet who was part of the New Apocalyptics movement. He worked as Professor of English Literature in 1939 at Tohoku University. His collections include Selected Poems, Dibby Dubby Dhu and other poems, and To Aylsham Fair. His best work is widely considered to be The True Confessions of George Barker.
