H. P. Lovecraft, or Howard Philip Lovecraft, was an American horror writer. He is best-known for the Cthulhu Mythos. He also wrote a few pieces of poetry. Throughout his work, he engaged with themes of forbidden knowledge, fate, decline of civilization, religion, and more. His poetry is collected in The Ancient Track: The Complete Poetical Works of H. P. Lovecraft.
