Ho Thien was a Vietnamese-American poet and activist. He spent almost thirty years of his life in prison. He’s won several awards for his bravery and was awarded a fellowship from the International Parliament of Writers. He wrote narrative stories from his perceptive, many of which were published in English.
‘The Green Beret’ is written by a Vietnamese poet Ho Thien. It described a tragic story of a Vietnamese boy whose father was killed by an American soldier named Green Beret.
