Ian Pople is a poet and educator. He currently teaches at the University of Salford in Manchester, United Kingdom. His best-known work, The Evidence, was published as a chapbook in 2018. His first collection won a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. It was also shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection in 1997.
