Jayanta Mahapatra is an Indian-English poet. His works include poems like ‘Hunger’ and ‘Indian Summer,’ which are celebrated within Indian literature. He has written 27 poetic volumes throughout his life. Seven of these are in Odia, the rest are in English. Some include Close the Sky Ten by Ten, Waiting, and The False Start.
