Kayo Chingonyi was born in Zambia in 1987 and grew up in the United Kingdom since six. So far, he has authored many contemporary poems and has been awarded several important prizes, including the Dylan Thomas Prize and a Somerset Maugham Award. A Blood Condition was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection.
