Lisel Mueller Poetry

Lisel Mueller was a German poet who immigrated to the United States while fleeing the Nazi regime. She published The Private Life in 1975 and it was chosen as the Lamont Poetry Selection. This was followed by Second Language and The Need to Hold Still. The latter won the National Book Award.
