Louisa May Alcott was an American author who also wrote short stories and poems. She’s best-known as the author of Little Women. She grew up among intellectuals like Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Her other novels include An Old Fashioned Girl, Eight Cousins, and Under the Lilacs.
