Mary Steel Stevenson (1896–1985) was a Scottish-born Australian activist, political leader, and community advocate. A founding member of Canberra’s Liberal Party branch, she served on the ACT Advisory Council and championed women’s rights, healthcare, and federal representation. Stevenson was awarded an MBE for her extensive civic contributions and public service.
