Freelance Poetry Analyser
Become a poetry analyst on Poem Analysis, analyzing poetry from the past and present!
This role can be both part time/freelance/full time depending on the commitments and quality of the work.
- Background in English Literature/Language at an academic level.
- Fluent in English.
- High level of understanding of poetry, in terms of:
- Structure
- Form
- Tone
- Language used
- Various poetry techniques used by poets
- Passion for poetry, both from the past and present.
- Capable of working to weekly deadlines.
- Reliable and consistent at posting high-quality content.
- Capable of writing 1500+ words per poetry analysis.
- Capable of writing analysis of poetry from a dedicated list.
- Can consistently keep to the formatting of the website.
Please only apply for this role if you are:

- You can be committed to your schedule.
- You are willing to format your analysis into the correct format for the site.
If you have the correct credentials and, importantly, the right attitude, we would then invite you a trial paid analysis, with the option to expand after that.
Virtual Assistant
A virtual assistant’s role is to provide a range of activities relating to anything to do with Poem Analysis – flexibility is key with this, with an emphasis on:
- Background in English Literature/Language, ideally at an academic level.
- Fluent in English.
- Good management and can work on initiative
- High level of understanding of poetry
- Good understanding of WordPress.
Content Manager
A content manager’s role is to add to the editorial process to make sure any content that is ready to be published on Poem Analysis meets the expected standards.
- Background in English Literature/Language at an academic level.
- Fluent in English.
- High level of understanding of poetry.
- Capable of working to deadlines when required.
- Reliable and consistent.
- Good understanding of WordPress.
Social Media Manager
- At least one year of experience managing business social media channels.
- High level of understanding of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).
- Capable of responding to social media notifications within the hour continually.
- Maintain social media channels continually, posting 1-2 times a day.
- Fluent in English.
- High level of understanding of poetry.
